Annual Civic Dinner or Mayoral Banquets - does anyone use a ticketing platform to sell tickets?

Hi everyone

The Mayor holds a Civic Dinner each year which we sell tickets for. When a guest/s purchases a ticket/s we also ask them to provide additional information - names of all guests, their menu choices and any dietary or access requirements. In an ideal world we’d like the system to be user friendly and information they provide to be collated into a spreadsheet.
Someone recommended we use Eventbrite to do this, however, no matter how we tried we could not create a design that would enable us to capture the information we needed.
My question is does anybody use a ticketing platform for similar Civic events that you could recommend?

Hi Carolyn - have you tried using TicketTailor? We were going to use them for an event last year as found that they could provide more of this info than EventBrite and had cheaper fees. However we ended up using an inhouse system in the end. We were able to adapt that system (which is generally used to sell tickets for concerts at council venues). Perhaps you have something similar that you could use/explore. It wasn’t perfect but did work. Happy to have a chat if that helps.
