Flying Flags on 2 Flagpoles

Hi

We’re moving to new offices and will have 2 flagpoles instead of 1. Historically we’d fly the Union Jack daily, and then put other flags as required (having lowered the union jack).

On “ordinary” days, does anyone know what the etiquette is? Fly two union jacks, fly just one (I have the protocol on which pole to fly it on!), or something else?

Any guidance would be appreciated

Hi Aisha - we have two flag poles.

One always fly the Union Flag and on the other we have a council flag with our logo. on normal days.

This allows us on ‘special days’ to change the council flag to fly i.e. Commonwealth Flag, Flag of St George, Armed Forces Day Flag etc.
