Have any Councils got plans for the UK National Day of Reflection on 23 March, 2023. We held a Service of Reflection in 2022 but have no concrete plans for 2023, other than to pay tribute at our full Council meeting that afternoon. There is a national silent tribute being planned at 12 noon that day, can I ask if you are planning anything around this.
In Barnsley, we had a Covid Memorial sculpture installed in our town centre, so the National Day of Reflection is now a firm civic date in our annual calendar. The Mayor will lead and observe a 1 minute silence at the sculpture before laying a floral tribute .
