Ukraine flag - are you still flying it? Any Gov update?

Hi everyone,

May I check who is still flying the Ukraine flag? Has anyone seen any update as to we should be still flying it? I have check GOV UK but nothing specific.

Hi Jane - we are still flying the Ukraine flag on our second flag pole, when not used for anything else, ie this week Armed Forces Flag is flying. This is a decision taken by the Administration in control (Cons) and they have made it clear the flag will remain flying in their tenure.

Thanks Tracy this is helpful. We too do the same but due to what going on overseas etc I wanted to be sure we are still continuing to fly. Thanks again have a good day.

Hi Jane

Chippenham Town Council continues to fly the Ukrainian Flag every Monday unless another flag takes precedence.

We currently only have the one flag pole.

Here in Hartlepool reinstated Ukraine flag in May 2025 at request of Administration. Our flags are up and down all the time depending on various occasions. We try to maintain the Union flag at all times.

Thank you Lorraine, helpful. So pleased everyone is still supporting Ukraine, was worried with all the talks with trump and seems a little lopsided but so happy all flying the flag.
