Hi all, is there a hard and fast rule as to whether or not serving Civic Heads can still Chair committee meetings during their term of office?

Hi Rachel
Mayors are able to chair committees unless your constitution says otherwise. I worked with Mayors who chaired Personnel and Planning Committees. They cannot however occupy Cabinet roles.
