Which flag should we fly for this years D-Day anniversary

Hi, I’m looking for some guidance on which flag we should fly for this years D-Day 80th year anniversary. I’ve looked on Gov.uk and RBL but can see no guideline. Can anyone help?

I spoke with Bruno Peek and he advised for us to use the Union Flag if we carry out a flag raising.

We normally hold competitions for schoolchildren to design an A4 poster and the winning entry is made into a flag, with the winner attending a flag raising ceremony to hoist their winning flag. It also gives an opportunity to raise the profile of the historic occasion.
